Happy Bill & Ted day, our fellow awesome dudes! On this particular day, the powers that be have released the first official trailer for Bill & Ted Face the Music slated to release this August 2020. The duo first embarked on their original adventure in Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure in 1989 when they were high schoolers. Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey then followed it in 1991.
Although the boys are now much older, we aren’t sure if they are necessarily wiser. The trailer reveals that William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. (Alex Winter) and Theodore “Ted” Logan (Keanu Reeves) have yet to fulfill their destiny of writing the one song that would unite the world. Their beloved band, Wyld Stallyns, has resorted to playing for a crowd of forty people. Most of them were only there for the tacos instead of the group.
The third installment has Bill and Ted feeling the pressures of writing that one song to change the world, and their brilliant idea is to go back and steal it from themselves. However, to Bill’s point, “How is that stealing if we are stealing it from ourselves, dude?” This time around, they will have their daughters to help them, and yes, you read that right, they are now fathers! We are sure they will run into many more exciting characters along the way, and it even looks like the Grim Reaper (William Sadler) has returned!
