The Walking Dead still has six episodes left to air in its extended tenth season. Today, AMC released a trailer for those upcoming episodes!

This trailer is very tense. Within it, fans of the show are able to see that Maggie has not been able to move on from Negan killing her husband, Glenn, which occurred in the controversial Season 7 premiere of The Walking Dead when Maggie was pregnant with the couple’s son, Hershel. That is not surprising, as when we last saw Maggie in Season 9, she was seeking vengeance against Negan and also still hadn’t let go of his wrongdoings to the extent that some of the other characters had.

This trailer also gave fans another look at Negan’s wife, Lucille, who is played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan’s real-life wife, Hilary Burton Morgan! Other new include Robert Patrick as Mays, and Okea Eme-Akwari as Elijah. The trailer also shows what appeared to be the creation of the Lucille that fans know and are more familiar with, which is Negan’s iconic weapon, his bat with barbed wire on it.

After these six episodes finish airing, it’s only a matter of time before eleventh and final season of The Walking Dead begins airing, which will consist of twenty-four episodes as opposed to the usual sixteen. In today’s press release, AMC stated that The Walking Dead Season 10 will return at 9:00 PM ET on Sunday, February 28th, and on Thursday, February 25th for AMC+ subscribers, who will be able to access new episodes every Thursday going forward after that.
