CD PROJEKT RED has released three new featurettes for the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077. The featurettes highlight various life paths and weapons players can choose from during their playthroughs, as well as some of the music created for the game.
The Lifepaths featurette highlights the various backstories that players will be able to choose for V, Cyberpunk 2077’s main character. Each path will drastically change the way V’s story plays out while providing a unique introduction to Night City and ainglter V’s experiences throughout the game.
The Tools of Destruction featurette is an in-depth look at the guns, melee weapons, and cyberware available to players along with demonstrations of the weaponry and examples of combat.
The Becoming SAMURAI featurette takes players behind the scenes to see how Swedish hardcore punk band Refused brought the in-game chrome rock band SAMURAI to life. Becoming SAMURAI features interviews with band members and insight into the creative process of bringing a fictional band to life.
For players sad about the recent release date delay or for those who just can’t get enough information there is now a new book created in collaboration with Dark Horse Books entitled The World of Cyberpunk 2077 which features a deep look at the lore. You can purchase the book through Dark Horse’s website.
For those who enjoy collectibles, you can now pre-order CD PROJEKT RED Gear’s first Cyberpunk 2077 themed figure – Trauma Team Elite Response Unit.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on November 19th, 2020. Those who purchase the game on current gen consoles will receive a free upgrade to the next gen version on the XBOX Series X and PlayStation 5 once available.
