The Kissing Booth and The Act star Joey King is in negotiations to join Brad Pitt in the action-thriller film Bullet Train.

King is rumored to be up for the teenaged assassin named Prince, although there are supposedly a few other roles opposite Pitt, so her role is still in negotiations. Pitt is said to play an American hitman named Ladybug.

King brought attention to the project with an Instagram post with the caption “all aboard. Link in bio. I’m so excited it’s kind of unbelievable! Is this real life?” following a group of emojis.

The plot is vague but involves a bunch of assassins who find themselves on a train, each with their own mission, whether disconnected or not, we’ll find out.

The Sony Pictures film is based on the Japanese novel “Maria Beetle” by best-selling author Kotaro Isaka. Harvill Secker has announced that it will publish the novel titled  “Bullet Train” in English next year.

Zak Olkewicz (Fear Street) will be writing the screenplay with David Leitch and Kelly McCormick as producers through their company 87North. Leitch is also directing the film.

There is no report as to when the cast will be finalized or when production will begin.
